The retrospective will go on display at the V&A Museum in the spring of 2015,Exciting news for fashion lovers in the U.K.: the critically acclaimed Alexander McQueen:
Savage Beauty exhibition is finally coming to London. The display will
open at the Victoria & Albert Museum for spring 2015.
The blockbuster exhibition was first staged at New York's Met Museum
in 2011 and was the subject of that year's Costume Institute Gala.
Featuring a retrospective of the British designer's most spectacular and
ground-breaking creations—from his 1992 graduate collection to his
final and unfinished Fall 2010 line—the exhibition was curated as a
tribute following Lee McQueen's untimely death a year earlier, and
became one of the venue's top 10 most visited exhibits of all time. Its
appearance in London will mark the largest retrospective of the late
designer's work ever to be presented in Europe.
