Another bridal extravagance on Barcelona’s Bridal Week was the Rosa Clara collection. According to the
team itself “The new collection of Rosa Clara wedding dresses for 2014
has been created to make every bride feel feminine and beautiful on the
most important day of her life”. Well thought-out dresses with billowing
skirts made from the finest fabrics such as silk Mikado, ottoman or
brocade and elaborately detailed trimmings have given the collection a
grace like no other.
Rosa Clara with
her creative mind impressed the audience once again displaying
simplicity and charm of the wedding dresses on the event. The gowns and
dresses were meticulously embellished into a glamorous yet subtle form
that (even with a large flower, and hugely exaggerated flares) looked flawless and completely original. The dresses were ultra modern and chic, some lined according to the feminine curves and others giving a grand and majestic look. The collection
had princess like wedding dresses which is actually grand and the
skirts are really wide, sewn with large amounts of tulle covered with
delicate lace or elegant Mikado.
The collection last season was inspired by the famous film "The Great Gatsby".
The fascination, according to Rosa Clara, from the 20s does not go
away. The collection Rosa Clara 2015 now catches the visage of cinematic
heroines that inspired great creators of fashion through different
decades. The streets New York City was the back drop for Rosa’s collection and gave a street styled cinematic aura to her dresses.
Because there are a lot of fantastic models in vintage style, inspired by the stars like Grace Kelly, stars of S*x & the city, and every leading lady in between, i.e. Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's or Annie Hall Woody Allen, there were accessories matching the dresses like long pearls and short lace gloves which is a considerably perfect combination in wedding attire.
According to critics “It's not a
collection of spectacular wedding fashions reversed upside down
colliding and struggling to bring out
clear, new trends. But surely it is a stunning collection that has a
chance to conquer the hearts of brides around the world and even the
fashionistas who long for the latest in town.
Models flaunted the fairytale ball gown and cupcake-style dresses which were covering the width of the runway and were created with care from the finest fabrics including silk Mikado, ottoman and brocade. “Rosa showed her versatility and presented slinkier, column style pieces that flaunted the model's svelte figures, while other gowns featured detailed embellishments and floral lace appliqué”.

The designer label, Rosa Clara was established in 1995 and with this Rosa's mission was to bring in real "fashion" to the bridal world. "I knew then that I had something important to do, to contribute more creativity, bring more innovation, and above all, more design flair to the sector," she stated online. The dresses that she creates are no doubt a unique piece adored by the crowd every time.
