Mastering a perfect look on your
face can be quite tricky and frustrating. Most women go overboard with
products and makeup to make them look the best. Ladies this may not be
the best option for your skin! Our skin is a sensitive and prominent
layer that needs extra attention because it is exposed to a lot of dirt
and harmful exponents. Keeping a simple and basic routine for your face
before and after makeup can not only give you that flawless look that
you need, but also helps your skin stay healthy and fresh.
One basic rule for your skin should be
to moisturize it. Use a good moisturizer for your skin that helps
rejuvenate and hydrate your skin on a daily basis. If you have an oily skin type, look for oil-free lotions for moisturizers. Rose water
can be a good alternative for oily skin. Make sure your moisturizer has
SPF content in it to protect your skin from harmful rays of sunlight.
Keep your skin fresh by having a daily cleansing routine before and
after the day.
Cleanse your skin by gently massaging your skin in an upward direction. Use a cotton pad
to remove all the material from your face and then rinse properly. Do
not scrub, pull or tug too hard on your skin as it might put marks or
blemishes. Treat yourself to an at-home-facial 2 to 3 times a week. Use a
mild cleanser,
and then exfoliate with a gentle scrub that contains exfoliants that
are round and non-abrasive. Apply a facial mask after exfoliating and
rinse well. This will scrape off all the dirt and dead skin and you will
have a fresh and glowing skin.

While
applying
products or makeup material on your face, make sure that the products
are new and not expired. Apply only those products that suit your skin
type and are not harmful in anyway. Use a moisturizer before applying
foundation or you can use a BB cream as well. Even if
you’re going out at night or in a cloudy day, make sure that your
foundation or moisturizer has at least 15SPF content in it. Never forget
to put makeup off at night before sleeping. The biggest mistake is to
sleep while keeping your makeup on as it opens your skin pore and can make your skin rough looking.

Choose the shade of your foundation
carefully and try keeping it as similar as possible to the color of your
jaw line. Apply foundation over cheeks, forehead and chin and then
blend equally. This will give your skin a flawless look. Always start
with a small amount of foundation and then you may increase it if you
want. Since the skin under your eyes is more transparent, it tends to look dark, especially at the inner corner near the bridge of the nose.
To even out the tone, concealer is a
must. Again, use a concealer that matches your skin color and preferably
use a liquid one. To hide imperfections or trouble spots, use a thick cream concealer
and pat it on the mark and then blend it with a makeup sponge. Keep
your skin hydrated and enjoy a flawless everyday perfection.
